My journey started long before I even realised it would become my career. When I was ten, my mum bought her first Canon DSLR, and I’d secretly “borrow” it to capture anything and everything around me. What began as curiosity quickly turned into passion. While most kids were on Mario Kart or Minecraft, I was on iMovie and VideoStar, spending hours creating homemade movie trailers and music videos with my neighbours on my nani’s iPad.
Creativity has always been in my home. My mum, who has worked in the makeup industry for over 20 years, has the most incredible eye for detail. In 2024, we decided to combine our worlds and launched Shaban Visuals — a mother-daughter duo capturing intimate weddings, love stories, and special events.
As a female-led team, ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّٰهِ, the response has been so heartwarming. Every project reminds us why we love what we do - preserving emotions, stories, and the little moments that mean the most.
